Salesforce Inbox brings the world’s #1 CRM right to your inbox. Powered by Einstein, Inbox uses artificial intelligence to help your sales reps sell smarter. It recommends follow-ups for emails so important opportunities never slip through the cracks. It automates administrative tasks so reps can spend more time selling. And it allows everyone to discover key insights while they’re on the go so customer meetings become more meaningful and productive.
Hi ,
Is this extesion expiring on 31st March 2021 ?
Works intermittently, app disappears for a few weeks then re-appears. Email opens lag for days so pointless. Avoid!
Easy to use to quickly actions like schedule a meeting options
Read receipts are inconvenient, as they are saved in a folder or label within your Gmail inbox, but not on the messages themselves, so if you are in an email thread and wondering whether someone read your email, you’d have to go into the folder, search for the email and see if there’s a read receipt. Seems like a very basic function that they should get right.
Mail merge is also more or less useless as a time-saver. You have to first use Salesforce to create a contact list, and a “template” (a draft) of your email before you can come into to Gmail. This is significantly more work than just copying and pasting the same email into different compositions and just switching out the addressee and relevant info, which is almost the slowest and most inefficient way to email multiple individuals the same message.
Benefits: not much over the standard Salesforce plug-in. Looks neater and may pull in more information to your conversations, which is helpful. Being able to automatically log every email is helpful in one way, but also annoying in another, as I don’t want all my emails to be logged to Salesforce, and choosing sharing settings for every email is no more of a time-saver than manually logging.
Read receipts for emails folder dis appeared. please help.
Constantly disappears from Gmail; Forced to uninstall & reinstall multiple times per hour simply to keep this displayed in Gmail. Absolute abomination of a tool.
Barely any value-add when it works, but one too many times it prevents me from sending emails that I thought went through. Planning to leave salesforce altogether, just not enough value for small companies.
After many attempts of getting it to connect, decided to uninstall. This is supposed to make prospecting easy, not suck up valuable time.
I love this extension so much. It’s been a breeze to use, and the functionality is incredible. Please download it and try.
Really disappointing – overly complicated, doesn’t work well, wont let me add emails or contacts and requires ANOTHER salesforce plug in to manage calendar which then disables the gmail inbox plug in – ridiculous.
This app crashes and locks up the Chrome browser for our users, forcing them to uninstall and reinstall. Not even that works all the time, forcing them to leave it uninstalled and unused for days at a time. For this, you pay extra … doesn’t seem right that a company with the tallest building in San Francisco can’t get it’s apps to work properly.
Worked fine until recently, it has been freezing my Gmail interface to the point that it takes over 30 seconds to respond. Unfortunate because it was practical to use but it is unacceptable to render the client unusable.
We’ve deployed and trained our team to integrate this app into their daily Gmail workflow, but over the past few days using Salesforce Inbox has caused Gmail to hang and crash. Email engagement/tracking is critical for success, yet the alternate app, Salesforce Lightning for Gmail, features a less intuitive workflow when it comes to logging interactions amidst heavy email volumes. Please fix ASAP!
When it works, its great. But it keeps crashing and delaying. Get it together, SFDC.
The addon stopped working – it doesnt display itself on old or new gmail
Come on guys. We love the concept but only works half the time? And we pay for this.
Hit or miss if the the extension will initialize or not. Yes I have done all the updates.
Setting up in Salesforce Inbox within your Salesforce org is tough to nail down, as if Salesforce forgot to think of this after they acquired this company. Not even the account execs know how to instruct. Once you get it, its got a nice UI, but the mobile version of Inbox is bad: its search functionality is poor, there is a 10 to 500+ second delay in syncing with Gmail servers, and there is no way to reverse an email that’s been sent, in case you make a mistake in an email. On top of that, Inbox app on your mobile will force you to use Safari if you use an Apple phone + when you click on a Contact record in the Inbox app, it will not take you to that contact unless you’re using Salesforce1, which is worthless if you’re not using Lightning. Also, the calendar functionality is very weak, and if you’re not careful, you’ll send the wrong subject title as an event since it uses a previous event’s title and its hard to find. So this app is definitely about 5 years behind where it should be. We keep using it since it gives us just a tad bit more insight than we typically would have, but definitely not worth the cost. Negotiate w Salesforce for about 70% below its retail cost. Otherwise its a waste of money for now.
Please update compatibility for the new Gmail.
Love the extension, but need compatibility with new Gmail upgrades ASAP!!
Absolutely love it. Works perfectly with our instance of Sales Cloud + G Suite. Couldn’t do our jobs without it.
