FEATURES:
Shows owned/wishlisted games:
* [NEW] on the Humble Choice pages (https://www.humblebundle.com/subscription/home)
* on the main game bundle pages
* in the Humble Bundle Store and Search pages
* keys in your Humble Bundle library (https://www.humblebundle.com/home/keys)
Besides looking through every one of your steam games, searching for a specific title to see if you own it or not, there is no way of determining if a bundle you’re about to get on HumbleBundle.com has games in your Steam library. Although it may be cheap, spending money on a 10-game bundle where you already owned 9 of the games always makes me frustrated, so I created this extension! This will gray-out any game you own on Steam that is on any of the weekly bundles, store pages, and keys to let you know if you own the game or not. Additionally, it will highlight wishlisted games you may have forgotten about so you don’t miss a great deal on a wanted game!
HOW TO USE:
There will be a new extension icon in Chrome. Click on that to input your 64bit SteamID or steam profile name (NOT nickname) if you have set your URL. Click “Save” and you’re done! This information can be found in your profile URL “steamcommunity.com/id/XXXXXXXXXX/” or “steamcommunity.com/profiles/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/”
NOTE:
Humble Bundle uses a different naming format than Steam does for some games, but I will try to keep the alias file as up to date as possible whenever new bundles come out or new games are added to a bundle. If you see that games aren’t showing up in a bundle, don’t hesitate to contact me! The extension currently doesn’t support steam DLC collections (Season Pass, Master Collection, Collector’s Edition, etc.).
VERSION 0.9 CHANGES:
* Added support for the Humble Choice subscription page
* Fixed game aliases not loading in some circumstances
VERSION 0.8 CHANGES:
* Added support for the Humble Bundle Store and Search pages
* Fixed for new Humble Bundle keys layout
* Fixed single quote in game title issues

works great! wondering if you have thought about making the same extension for the Fanatical (Bundle Stars) website?
Doesn’t appear to be anything like that yet, only the fanatical extension that adds your steam wishlist
Installed after the most recent update and it works very well. I’m not sure what constitutes a large library, but I have almost 1,000 games and the extension has no problems. I’ve tested it in my Humble Bundle library and on the Australia Relief bundle. I especially appreciate that the style changes are noticeable without being ugly. I love how it highlights “Gift to a friend” and makes the star glow when I have a key for a game I already own.
Data Privacy Note: I have noticed that the extension obtains data, including my profile data, via API requests to foxslash.com. That looks to be the developer’s personal website. It would be nice if they would explain what is done with the data that passes through there. Still, a great extension.
Doesn’t work if your Steam library is huge. It uses a GET request with all of your games in a query string. If that string is too long, the server responds with “414 (Request-URI Too Long)” which prevents the app from working.
Works perfectly for me. Games I own appear grey in both the store and in bundles. The effect takes a few seconds to load.
It needs setting up to work. You will need to:
1. Set your Steam profile to public.
2. Find your Steam ID with steamidfinder.com by entering your steam username.
3. Copy the value of “steamID64”.
4. Click the extension icon and paste in the value. Check the “ID64” box, then click Save
seems like it stopped working 🙁
As of right now it doesn’t work at all
Doesn’t seem to work, tried it on the Humble store, bundles and my key library (there it greyed out 4 games before dying). Real pitty as this is exactly what I need, will keep it for a while and see if it maybe fires up again.
Doesn’t seem to work anymore.
Seems to work well – wish it could indicate which items are DLC as well 🙂
Does not work with custom ids
This is amazingly helpful! The only thing I do wish to point out is that it doesn’t handle titles with a “‘” (single quote) in them – e.g. “Sid Meier’s Civilization V”
I don’t suppose you take pull requests?
This is great. There’s something similar for Indiegala. Shame there isn’t for Bundle Stars (AFAIK). 😛
Unfortunately it is not working for me. It might be because humble bundle has updated the site design.
It works just fine for me so far. I really appreciate this extension and hope you continue to keep this up.
Great idea… except the problem of it not really working. It seems to highlight 1 or 2 games on humble bundle correctly, then give up. Also, a filter for non-steam bundles (i.e. friends of Nintendo) would be great.
Really cool and useful although it dose seem to miss some of the more complicated situations, such as DLC or games with multiple parts such as some telltale games. Over all it’s a great add on with a lot of potential to become even better.
Very useful, dude. Keep it up. Saw your post on pcmr. Stay glorious! 🙂
