The new generation Acura RDX, which debuted at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2012, was launched in September of that year. The engine replaces the 2.3T engine of the older model with a 3.5L V6 engine and is equipped with a new, lighter, new SH-AWD all-wheel drive system.
In June 2013, in order to further position the model to the public, Acura launched the 3.0L V6 version of the RDX model in the Chinese market, which has a higher cost performance while ensuring daily power demand. Acura RDX’s competitors are Audi Q5, Infiniti EX25, Mercedes-Benz GLK300 and so on.
