Ampie

Ampie helps you find interesting links, and find what people had to say about them: it shows you what the people you follow on twitter said about the website you are on, and what other pages they found interesting on the same domain. When you google, the results will include matches from the pages that your friends have shared.

Ampie lets you review and share what you find: use the amplify button to share the page you are on. Because ampie integrates with search engines, you will be able to discover relevant web pages that your friends found interesting.

Ampie is private: it keeps the cache of links to use in your browser, so that you are able to see which links have appeared in your twitter feed, on hacker news, or were amplified with ampie by your friends without sending your browsing history anywhere. Your search queries on Google and DuckDuckGo are sent to ampie’s server but they are not saved anywhere.
