A Chrome extension that displays when a server is reporting a fake player count (spoofing) and it displays the correct player count. Servers marked with a green checkmark do not spoof their player count. Basically an anti-seeder. Server owners are misusing the seeding plugins and they are killing the game. Most servers are actually empty as you can clearly see when running this plugin.
Does exactly what it’s supposed to, so 5*, BUT… it establishes a connection in the background relying on an expired certificate to rick-soft.com?
rick-soft.com is a Minecraft site, so I’m wary of the reason for that connection? I took a look into it, at the developers github page [see below] (https://github.com/TheBauwssss/BattlelogPlayerCountChecker/commit/2fb0596869590ed5e1a2257e55ea75443ff31b11)
It appears it is the ‘images’ that are hosted from rick-soft.com, and these are only http url’s, not HTTPS (secured).
I suspect this is the reason, however it would be good to get confirmation from the Developer (lookiong for a way to message).
works great!
Amazing, works instantly and perfect, completely changes the server browser experience.
Can you make this extension for Firefox?
Works great
Worked perfectly, just need to install and refresh battlelog
Headache… gone!
works like a charm
Thankgod i can use battlelog again with correct server player count instead of that BF4 UI Ingame
works well and recommended
Kill the ‘fake player count’ hack from bad admins, nice .
Works very well! Thank you!!
Simply Genius. Give the man his uni diploma already!
Great job bro,I appreciate it and recomended.
Always annoying when joining a server with “60” players on it but in the end none being on there. This little chrome extension fixed my problem and probably saved me hours of joining servers and finding out they’re spoofed.
Thank god this exists! Only thing that I’d like would be better sorting
Works great! It’s not enabled on other sites (i.e. can’t read and/or change data) except the Battlefield site. Which it needs access to in order to fix the incorrectly displayed player counts on servers. If EA would have just fixed the issue, we wouldn’t need this extension, but since EA hasn’t, thankfully someone else has!
thank you very much for this magnificent app
this actually works! i haven’t played BF4 in months because of the fake players problem, thank you so much to whoever made this
