Bonjourr is a new startpage for Google Chrome. Lightweight, beautiful, minimal, customizable and inspired by iOS, it has everything you could need for when you open a new tab. Be greeted by a minimal clock and weather widget, and strike a balance between serenity by looking at the beautiful backgrounds and productivity while controlling the Quick Links you want to see.
Bonjourr relies on the work of Unsplash’s talented photographers, it comes with 4K backgrounds that will sublime your new tabs. Dynamic Backgrounds option changes your background everyday from a regularly updated selection. You can choose your own backgrounds for a more personal experience and activate an automatic dark mode as well.
Quick links, to access your favorite websites, can be added manually, as to not bother you by displaying websites you don’t need to see on new tabs An optional search bar lets your search the web with a variety of different engines, such as Google, Startpage, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia and more. You can choose between updating the weather according to you geolocation or setting it up manually.
Even with all these options, Bonjourr stays very lightweight and quick. It opens in the blink of an eye.
Bonjourr is available in English, French, Swedish, Polish, Russian and Dutch, is open source and was developed with your privacy in mind: it doesn’t require any permission except your geolocation, if you want.

Exactly what I was looking for. It’s simple and I can hide the search bar and the recommended sites, everything that usually sends me down rabbit holes and steels my time.

Je l’utilise au quotidien avec plaisir. Seuls bémols a) certaines icônes n’apparaissent pas (raccourcis) et indiquent un lien brisé, ce qui n’est pas le cas b) plus embêtant : je n’ai pas trouvé le moyen de RETIRER un raccourci de la page…
La meilleure extension pour le “new-tab-page”, très bien configurable, supporte plusieurs langues, une bonne librairie d’arrière-plan si mode automatique et j’en passe

Beautiful design, with inspiration from Apple’s minimalistic ‘Good Morning’ screen on iOS. Brilliant customisation including blur levels, auto-updating Unsplash wallpapers etc. and it just looks incredible.

Quasiment parfait comme page d’accueil paramétrable. On atteindrait la perfection avec une barre de recherche permettant de choisir directement entre plusieurs moteurs de recherche comme le fait UR browser pour sa page d’accueil.
