This extension has bookmark, highlight and add sticky note features. These features need the privilege to access your pages. However, we never collect any of your data unless you select some content and choose to send it to diigo. Don’t worry. We are also internet users and don’t want to be evil.

Overall, Diigo is a good bookmark/tag application. Occasionally I find it a bit ‘clunky such as the ‘contecxtual’ functional icons that appear. It would be better if the user could modify what appears etc but this is not a major issue.
The one and only thing I can really critise enough to prevent me from subscribing, and it is something I think will effect many like me, is the price. I just can not justify the $40 per year price tag. I know that other students, regardless of age or where they are in their ‘career’, just like me, can not spend that sort of money. I would not argue that it is necessary to fund the development but I think a large swathe of people that could and would make use of all the functionality are being excluded. As those people are likely to be either studying or in academia, surely the target demographic, not only are they missing out on an application that could really help them with their studies but Diigo are missing out from all those people providing feedback for development and also from a marketing and advertising point of view.
It is a good app, worth trying and if you can afford it I suspect worth buying.

I have used Diigo for several years and as a curation tool for saving book marks and other data, it works okay. The basic functionality is fine but, it does have one annoying habit that drives me up a wall. Its Twitter integration sucks! The Twitter interface only allows me to send only 128 characters, not the 256 characters permitted by Twitter. I’ve reported this glitch to the folks at Diigo several times and every time I get a response telling me the matter is being “looked into” but, nothing changes. I get the feeling that the development of this software as ceased and management is quite happy to collect my yearly subscription fee (yes, I have the paid version) while doing little more then maintaining what’s there. No improvements, no glitch fixes, no upgrades. I half expect to log in someday soon and discover they’re gone. I hope I’m wrong because I do like many aspects of the program but Diigo just has that kind of vibe.

真得是神器，啥时候能做safari的版本插件。
Allow for resizing of the outline sidebar. Some websites don’t fit well with the huge sidebar and the content is obstructed
The most pathetic premium tool I have ever purchased.
I had purchased premium service few months back. Uploaded some pdfs and highlighted important points in it. There was >1000 highlighted points in most of them. Before one month I realized that most of my saved highlights are gone so i contacted support for this and provided them links. Its been 15 days but no reply from them even after sending multiple emails asking for update.
I don’t consider it as a reliable tool for your research. Never recommend this to anyone.
Fantastic! I use this for research almost every day. I love the highlighting and sticky notes, and it’s well worth the premium version to get permanently cached pages!
