This extension adds a sketchpad to Google Image search. Doodle with mouse or touch.
This extension does not guarantee accurate search results. In fact it is horrible at finding the correct images that match your drawing. Your experience may be better if you actually know how to draw. And sometimes you just get lucky.
It is a lot of fun to draw something and see how Google interprets the doodle.
Been searching for a couple hours for a photo of the most generic Australian road+kerb+side walk from a specific angle. When I saw this extentions I got my hopes up that it would look for similar images to the sketch but the first time I drew something google decided if was looking for line art and the second time it assumed it must be a canoe!
Its a good idea but it seems like the developers have made it for something other than what the users think this is supposed to be.
Google is not too good at guessing. So I was curious about finding out the name of a certain species of barnacle that I cam across during a vacation. Results were, “circle” or “sketch” Like come on!
In the 12 hours I’ve used this extension, it worked ONCE. And after I used it, I was not able to use the extension because the logo (in the search bar) did not appear again. I hope sneeak fixes this bug. Also, why does it say there’s 10 reviews when there’s only 1 other reviewer?
I LOVE IT!!! <3 First good drawing app I have seen! (and the poodle is cute)
