Incrustar miniaturas de vídeos de YouTube en Gmail es una gozada. Fantástico.
Works great! We use to be able to just paste in a youtube video link in gmail and it would give the thumbnail then Google stopped letting that work in Dec sometimes. Found this extension and it’s right on the mark! Excellent extension! It would be awesomer if you can add the ability to populate the Subject line with the video title! Other than that, love the extension!
so helpful!!! I can easily embed videos to send to my friends who cant use youtube!!
At first, I was disappointed like that the YouTube URL link I put in search box cannot found my video, then I find out I should not using the short URL link generated by share button. Put the real URL link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxxxxxxx in the search box, then it will be OK. I don’t know if the developers can make the short link worked as well.
Yep, it’s annoying we have to accept the requiring permissions in both YouTube & Gmail Google accounts in order to use this extension but I’m OK with it since they belong to Google security management. If any malicious occurs, they will detect bad extension and disable it. This extension works as I want. Easy for everybody check you email seeing the thumbnail and some useful video info and just click to play. Thanks to the creator of this extension!!
Use to be 5* but no longer works
Great idea that just doesn’t work.
Changes in Youtube and Google requiring permissions to both “accounts” was annoying. Pasting a Youtube share link or video title in the “search box” and NOT having it found is a fundamaental incompatibility flaw.
I used a personal Chromebook, tested in a 100% Google environment with no other extensions. This is not a matter of extension conflicts, a third party OS or permissions.
This does not reflect well on CloudHQ. It should be taken out of the Chrome Store
Doesn’t actually embed the video. It just provides a screenshot image from the video, which if you click on it, takes you to the Youtube video in a separate tab. Not what I was looking for.
I have been having problems with this extension. Everytime I try to activate via the red icon in gmail this is what I get the error screen, “Oops you have been logged out”
I did as per your instructions via the FAQ and enabled third party cookies as well as whitelisting both cloudhq.net and mail.google.com. I also disabled Adblock. But nothing changed and I am still unable to use your app.
Now I use a proxy when I surf the net, can this be causing the problem?
Appreciate all the assistance I can get from your side.
Please respond via my email address is [email protected]
Thank you kindly
Arjuna
I installed the extension but I continually get the “create account” window popping up playing that nice introduction video… despite the fact that i’ve made an account. Cannot proceed any further. What’s up?
Embedding the videos makes everything look so clean! This is a really awesome extension.
You just need certain permissions for the extension to work through your gmail. Idk what that guy is talking about. Works great.
Love this Extension. The only issue I am having is now after using for some time the video upload gets stuck on the “working” screen when I click what video I want to put in my email.
If I can get this issue resolved that would be amazing. Other than that amazing extension.
Works great for me! Any plans to do this for Firefox or Opera browsers? Thanks.
This app doesn’t work…bummer.
I spent so much time trying to grab the Embed codes from Youtube & wondering why it came up in plaintext instead of just working. Glad somebody made this and made it easy to use too.
doesn’t work.
Leaving plaintext links in emails never looks good anyways. Having my emails embed the video makes for a better experience anyway, for everyone involved.
It isn’t playing in the email… it is opening a separate link for Youtube. How do I get it to play in the email?
I was very excited to find this extension! I gave gotten it all downloaded and ready to rock out some great videos for a client. Unfortunately, it isn’t fully embedding the video. I only is putting a preview in the email and then it opens to YouTube. I reached out to the support email last week and still haven’t gotten a response. Pretty disappointing!!
The button does not appear for me.
Great Extension, i was looking for slimier one long time ago, just would like to know why the black margin in the top & the bottom of the embedded movie (when inserting 16:9) i think its deal with it as 4:3, plz advice
Emailing Youtube videos is better than fb messenger now. My family enjoys this much.
I’m uninstalling this extension because it doesn’t do anything I can’t do without it.
It says it embeds the video, but it actually only links to it. When you click on the video, it just opens YouTube. It does NOT play the video in the email.
You also will have to create an account with cloudHQ.
However, some people might find this extension helpful. It is easy to use. It will place a picture of the video with the red YouTube arrow on it (but the image was much smaller than they show in their example). The video’s name and “author” appear below the image (within the box around the image–you can edit this text).
it’s fishy that you guys just got permission from my account to do this without asking, and it’s annoying that it open gmail automatically right after installing, but this is a great app anyways
Please make it so the tab doesn’t open automatically after installing the app, it is very fishy and make sure we are prompted to give you guys permission to get the account info you need.
