If you are like me, Chrome is central to your workflows. I personally don’t want to switch browser, but I also don’t like the idea that the “ping” attribute in the new HTML spec is on by default on Chrome and cannot be disabled. This attribute allows the url denote by “ping” to be notified of you clicking on it.
This extension simply removes the ping attribute to help protect your privacy.
