This extension is very small and very simple. I wrote it for myself one day to meet my own needs, but I’d really like some feedback. Can it be improved? What were you looking for when you came across it? Does it do what you want? If not, what is it missing? Can/should it display more of the image’s meta info? Maybe auto-save the icons of all open tabs into a folder? Please let me know.

Works great, didn’t run into a website it couldn’t grab the favicon for. Wish it could auto-download, or had a button to save to last download location instead of needing to right-click the link to Save-As, or opening it. May be a limitation on Chrome’s part for that functionality, though.

Very useful, but could you please replace the heart icon with the favicon of the current page, so that the favicon of the current page is loaded automatically where now the heart icon is?
