# About this extension
This package will change appearance of all GitHub pages to dark theme, mostly based on Atom One Dark.
GitHub Dark Theme extension doesn’t collect/share/care about your data at all. Access permission only for store your custom domain for GitHub Enterprise feature.
# Privacy Policy
## Personal data
GitHub Dark Theme had never collected and will never collect any personal data, browsing history etc.
In future GitHub Dark Theme may collect browser version, platform name, display settings and user’s filter settings (except website list or any other data which can help identify user). This information is needed for decision on implementing new features, removing unused features or suggesting default settings for new users. It will happen only with your permission.
## Third party services
GitHub Dark Theme uses Chrome (Chromium) or WebExtensions Storage Sync API for storing user’s settings and browser’s Web Storage API (localStorage) for storing user’s Developer Tools fixes.
This extension is great, except for one bug that is out there for some time: the label with the github_username\repository_name\ has a white background making the text difficult to read.
Thank you for developing this nice extension! However GitHub has added the new dark mode feature recently, but I still appreciate your work. Before I remove it, just I think I must leave a 5-star review here, great job!
This is still a lot better than the original dark theme as it has a nicer contrast, it’s just way more comfortable to use than the original dark theme. Sometimes single elements break but I just switched to the dark theme in my github profile so these issues would probably not even be noticed any more 🙂
Just came here in Jan 2021 to say that this theme looks waaaay better than the native dark theme from Github. Will keep on using!

Great! I love using it for GitHub! Although they made a dark mode, I still love the Atom based theme! Definitely recommend!
Since GitHub introduced dark theme I am not gonna used it, but when I used it, it saved me! Props to the developers! If you are looking for people to hire, then the developers are obviously your guys!

i regained my vision
The light gray text on the light gray background unfortunately means this extension is almost unusable for me. Doesn’t seem too hard to increase the contrast just a little bit so that it passes accessibility guidelines.
The regular GitHub Theme was blinding me when I was working in the dark. This was exactly what I was looking for.

For years, I have been exploring examples of coding rxamples and techniques via a huge number of coding content creators. I did not even think to setup GitHub with a dark theme. My eyes thank the Poy Chang, the developer.
This changes GitHub so much it looks amazing, you would think GitHub would have dark mode, I couldn’t live without this extension.
