This extensions builds off of Einar Lielmanis’s JSBeautifier project. If you view a JavaScript file in your browser, you will be given the option to format it. You can set specific formatting settings in the options page of the extension.

Good performance on large scripts. Other beautifiers choke and slow things down.
Works really well with the .js extension.
Would be great if it worked on more than just .js
Why do none of these javascript beautifier extensions work with the content type header? Every one I’ve tried requires the URL to contain a “.js” at the end. Is it just not possible to check a request header in an extension?

Great idea, but simply didn’t work for me at all. Pretty Beautiful Javascript worked first time so I’ll try that for now.
