The lack of customization is what ruined the potential of this extension. The color of the new tab is horrible and I can’t choose the level of the kanji that shows up.
Kudos for writing all of that JS!
When i went to try it, it was fine.
It gives a good explanation of kanji and shows pictures of them.
I can’t figure out how to close the tab :/
I guess i’ll have to remove the extention.
Great for people like me, who still can’t read real Japanese websites, but would like to have more contact with the language.
Can’t you make it only change the Kanji every hour? Or even better, make it configurable.
Also, show usage examples from a site like Tatoeba would be great.

The concept was cool, but it should have some button to show our original new tab, ’cause I have the other extension installed for new tab too, this extension hide them all, so I have to choose one between these 2 great extensions. Unfortunately…
