This tool adds download capability to your Instagram webpages. After installation, open an Instagram page or reload an existing page for the extension to add tags to all the loaded images. You can see all the available qualities on the top left side of each image. Click on the quality that you would like to download and wait for a few seconds. The image will be placed in your default browser download’s directory.
This extension offers downloading images in 150, 240, 320, 480, 640, 750, and 1080 pixel qualities.
Note that this extension has none persistent background page, which means it is not using any resources when there is no open Instagram page.
Awesome app works flawlessly, but it needs two improvements.
1- Option for the highest resolution 1080w is not shown on the main thumbnail page.
2- The images are saved by profile name (nasaVerified•Follow – 1080w.jpg)
not as their own unique instagram id pattern (11357983_574786385995155_503550105_n.jpg)
The only extension able to download images in carousels.
It doesn’t save the images using it’s actual filename, but instead renames it. That’s… meh.
It does work though, and that’s a plus when it comes to these kinds of extensions.
