This extension will replace you’r new tab page. You can set countdown timer.

Cant set background, shows a white background with white text on it,
no way to set a background. please fix
Countdown works great but pictures are terrible. Pixelated/bad quality images. Borderline pornographic images that are inappropriate for a school or work environment. I opened up a new tab in class and was horrified by the close up image of a woman’s breasts. How shameful. Do not add to chrome.
Works fine except the images. They rotate randomly and woke up today to a pornographic picture of some guy’s dong.
It works but background is random and you can’t set it so sometimes, it shows something you’d never set as your background – embarrassing.
Amazing!
Would be great if you could choose your own background
