Download equirectangular panorama from Street View directly from the Google Maps page.
Just go to maps.google.com, find a street view that you want to download and click the extension button. You can choose the quality from 1 (very low) to 5 (very high – might not be available for some locations). The extension will download the tiles and compose the equirectangular panorama and automatically download the final image.
Doesn’t work at all..Pressed all the numbers from 1-5 and waited but never saw any DONE popping up..Waste of my time..
This works ONLY for exporting panoramas taken by Google, NOT for any user generated content. I was hoping this would be able to export the tours that I publish via Matterport (because Matterport’s crappy business practices don’t provide us the images that we capture because they are afraid of competition), but unfortunately this failed. If this could export user generated panos, I’d be willing to pay for it.
I struggled first with it – developer make it clear !!!
What you have to do is go into the google street view as if your in the location yourself. then drag the little man down into the area then go back up to the extension and click image quality and you will then see the download process – im a stickler for processes so try this – it works ! i was about to delete my extension but then tried this method its done it (btw when you drop the man into street view or hover the area an image will pop up much like the google one – this i suppose is letting you know that there are image available to download) it downloads as png and 360 view fish eye lens.

Stops working from time to time. Currently in the “not working” phase of things.
used to work. now some panorama wont even download. some download will work with some major issues, the bottom part of the downloaded image are black.

It worked. But unfortunately, saving image into png format isn’t a good option. Also it removes the exif data.

As stated previously, it only works with photos taken by google, it doesn’t seem to like user-generated content. Other than that, works perfectly.
Simply not doing anything when clicking any of the buttons 1 to 5.
