rbutr is all about mapping the great global discussion which takes place on the internet every day. Blog authors, journalists, forums posts, youtube channel owners – all of these people are creating content and other people are disagreeing with it. They are arguing against it. Rebutting it. Trying to refute it.
The problem is that only the people subscribed to the rebuttal authors see the rebuttals. There is no way for the people reading the rebutted pages to follow the discussion. They don’t know the rebuttal even exists!
rbutr allows people to map these claim-rebuttal connections, and the counter rebuttal-rebuttal connections. rbutr allows people to follow these inter-website discussion, to follow the claims to their replies, wherever they are on the internet.

Not sure why this thing has so many great reviews. Had it installed for a week and found zero rebuttals to any current news articles. Clicked RANDOM 10 times and 9 of the random articles it found were religion-based. Utterly useless tool.

I can’t figure why everyone rates this app so highly when every single article or video I’ve pulled up has 0 rebuttals. I’ve wasted hours trying to use rebutr to find rebuttals of arguments when my own independent searches have been fruitful.
What a great tool for avoiding nonsense on the internet. And when you hit an article in your area of expertise, you can link to a rebuttal for everybody else to see.

Great idea! It pointed out that a certain viral fake video was fake, so it defintely can save you time if everyone starts using it.

You need to advertise on TV! this extension/app needs more users. more input = more usefulness. you might even be able to educate people!

every page is showing a pop-up for 5 seconds. either unnecessary or there needs to be an option to disable this.
