Compose an email just by typing in Chrome’s address bar.
Emails are started with a “.” and a space. For example:
. [email protected] sub What’s up?, I thought you’d enjoy this picture: http://bit.ly/6kEfZ0
will open a compose window (using mailto) to [email protected] with the subject “What’s up?” and the included message.
Define a custom shortcut for someone’s email by typing
. set m, [email protected]
and then “m” can always be used instead of [email protected]

SO COOL
I would like it if as Chris david said
“2. The option for hitting enter a second time sends the email. So the focus would be on send when the email comes up.
“
This is awesome. It shows you the email and then you can go ctrl-enter if clicking “Send” is too slow. (That’s a Gmail shortcut.)
It gets only four stars because loading Gmail before sending the message takes awhile with slow connections; it is often handier to just keep a Gmail tab open and use the Gmail shortcuts.
Simple idea, innovative, like it a lot!
Omnimail was better, but that doesn’t exist anymore, so this is an adequate replacement
This is fantastic and just what I was looking for. The only two things I wish it had were:
1. The option for emails to open in a new tab, not window.
2. The option for hitting enter a second time sends the email. So the focus would be on send when the email comes up.
Thanks for a great extension!
