Transmogrify for Plex adds several features to the Plex/Web 2.0 client for Plex.
Each feature can be individually enabled or disabled via the settings page.
These currently include:
– Adding a link to view the trailer for movies within Plex/Web
– Adding a link to view the letterboxd page for movies
– Adding a link to view the themoviedb page for movies
– Adding a link to view the tvdb page for tv shows
– Adding a link to view the IMDB page for movies, and display ratings
– Adding a link to view the trakt page for movies and tv shows, and display user ratings
– Adding a link to view the rotten tomatoes page for movies, and display critic and audience ratings
– Adding a random tv show/movie picker
– Adding a missing seasons and episodes view
– Adding a Can I Stream it? widget to movie pages
– Adding a movie/tv show filter for the main dashboard
– Adding an actor profile for cast members on movie pages
– Adding a server statistics page

I’m confused as to why this extension needs to be able to “Read and change all your data on the websites you visit.” That’s an unnecessary amount of control to be giving over to an extension dealing with Plex.

I loved it, it currently isn’t working in the latest plex web overhaul… I couldn’t give it a 1 star just for that, but I figured 2 until it’s fixed.

Transmogrify broke for me once Plex Web updated beyond 2.0
Best thing since sliced bread! ..except for when Plex overhauled PlexWeb, now it doesn’t work at all! 🙁
The creater of this extension (Moussekateer) now is works for Plex. So let’s hope Transmogrify features get adapted into Plex.
This no longer works at all on Plex web client. I assume it’s because it hasn’t been updated to work with the new version of the web client?

I’m really liking the feature that shows what seasons or episodes I’m missing. It would be even better if it could be used without having to turn on the Trakt link/rating.
Sometimes, a show is linked with the wrong show on Trakt. The Twilight Zone, for example, had an identically-named run in the 80s. Transmogrify doesn’t process this correctly.
Can it be updated plex to allow for Music to once again work as it stopped looking at music stats middle of last year
