Twitch Live
Twitch TV extension for displaying a user’s favorite channels which are currently live.
Twitch Live is a browser extension for Google Chrome that makes it easy to check which of your favorite Twitch.tv channels are currently live. You can also configure the extension to send you a notification when one of your favorite streams goes online.
Extension was developed by Mike Chambers. Design by Ben Griffith.
Once the extension has been installed it will place a small monitor / TV icon on the top right of your browser window. NOTE YOU MUST NOW PIN THE EXTENSION IN CHROME IN ORDER TO SEE THE ICON. Open the options tab by right clicking the icon, and selecting options. Once the options tab is open, enter your Twitch.tv user name, and click save.
You can then view which of your favorite Twitch.tv streams are online by clicking the Twitch Live icon in the browser window.
This extension was originally part of the JTV Live extension for Justin.tv but has been split off into its own extension.

Just downloaded, but so far so perfect. Exactly what I was looking for!
Its really good although you should add an option to select favorite streamers to see them at the top as priority
Работает отлично, никаких претензий, огромное спасибище!
I LOVE THIS EXTENTION
Amazing for what it does, it gives me notifacations when my favourite streamers go live. It’s absoluetely amazing.
Simple app to see who’s online in a blink. Good to see it’s being updated for the twitch changes!
Super simple and easy, other extensions may have more features but this does exactly what it says on the tin and is hassle free
doesn’t work anymore
Edit
I had changed my username, I think that’s why after a while it didn’t work. I edited the name in the options for that extension and it worked.
Great extension that I’ve been using for a while, though I noticed a potential issue recently where it doesn’t update the game played when a streamer changes game (or it takes a long time). I understand that this may be a limitation of the Twitch API.
Does exactly what I want it to do. Can see whoever I’m following when they’re live. Minimalistic approach is a +
Been using this extension for a while and it definitely serves its purpose rather well. It looks like something recently broke the extension for me though, within the last day or two, as I’m now getting three copies of each person’s stream showing up in the extension. Hopefully this is something that recently changed with Twitch and can be fixed easily.
I absolutely love this extension. Been using it for about 5+ years and never had an issue before. I’m not sure if I’m the only one with this issue but recently I have a bug which show most channels I follow but appears triple, I say most because this make my list appears bigger resulting in some channels I follow to not appears at all even though they are online. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the extension but the problem remain. I hope something can be done.
issue: extension shows duplicates of channel names several times which needs to be fixed.
keep good work!
Best compact Twitch extension to show which streams are live. I’ve been using this for years but now (since yesterday) streams are shown twice. Hope for a fix.
I love this extension & have used it for a long time best one I have found. But lately its been showing double streams https://gyazo.com/90465b0fe478a189926dd51a933127b7 I have to disable it for now til a fix is made.
I love it but it doesn’t work anymore, reinstalled (Ver 1.88) and now it only shows a few of the streamers that are online, each of them 6 times.
Didn’t work for a while so had it sitting in the extensions hoping for an update. As of now the extension got updated and works, so go for it.
Amazing extension does exactly what you want it to.
But very recently, the extension shows duplicates of channel names several times which needs to be fixed.
It works great but recently there’s an issue where the username shows up twice
Its really good but doesn’t work anymore
Edit: Its back 🙂
Es muy buena cumple con su función de avisar si alguien esta en stream se las recomiendo
it is great when it works. unfortunately it currently has an issue where it does not save options. so you can’t tell it your twitch username, so it can’t find out which channels you follow, making it completely non-functional.
edit: works great now, thanks! live channel names with their viewer count are organised under categories where the game name is the header. if you hover over one, you see the title of that stream, and you can also click the game name to go to that game’s twitch page. this feels very natural to how i use twitch, since i am usually in the mood to watch a certain game or a certain kind of game, so i like how everything is neatly separated into small, readable categories.
Tiene lo que necesitas, no te satura con información innecesaria. Muy recomendada
doesn’t show anything
suddenly does not save my username anymore, no more streams are displayed.
