This tiny extension makes it easy to download images from the brilliant unsplash.com at a resolution that you specify. This means smaller downloads, and less hassle resizing images.
To use:
– Install the extension
– Click on a photo on unsplash.com
– The extension action button should light up (you may need to click the 3 dots to the right of the omnibox to find it)
– Click the button, enter the width and height of your download (in pixels), then click download
Note that if you specify widths and heights with a different aspect ratio to that of the original image, some portions of it will be cropped.
Is (as of today) no longer needed. Meanwhile unsplash offers unsplash by default. But the evaluation refers to the fact that the image is not reduced to the resolution, but cropped. This is not helpful at all.
Really useful! Much easier than manually resizing the images.
