Wiktionary translator is a simple and quick way to translate words on a page.
Just select a word on your page and press Shift+Ctrl+F to open the translator popup to see the wiktionary results! You can also type words to search directly in the popup.
You can select a different language for wiktionary translator in the Options page.
Difficult to understand how it functions, and when we understand, it doesn’t function well
Does anyone else experience weird page refresh or scrolling after installing this extension? That is, when the page is idle, sometimes the page refreshes itself for no reason, and scrolls to a different place. I am not 100% sure if this extension is the cause, but I have suspicions.
All I wanted a simple extension that adds “Wiktionary” in the selection context menu, so I have no complaints about the functionality. But I’m tentatively giving it 3 stars.
Opens a popup with the message “Error: You must select a word first.” Then the word has to be typed in before looking up.
Does not work on Chrome 61. No idea if works on different versions.
If it had function of switching languages quicker, than it would be ideal extension.
