I’m giving this extension a 3 to start off. I’m doing this so that I can test this out and form an opinion. I don’t care that it switched my search engine as long as it extends my email window, which it has so far.

Honestly not many people really want to use this crappy yahoo search engine, but we are FORCED to use it in order to stop the relentless ads on yahoo mail. On top of that, the ads come back so you end up reinstalling this JUNK every few days! After 20 years of being a faithful yahoo mail user I am moving everything over to Gmail. Good riddance, enough is enough!!!!

Summary: bad practice from yahoo and it only works if you keep “yahoo” as the default search engine on chrome. Once you disable, the yahoo mail site goes back to normal.
This extension was recommended by Yahoo Mail, as a way to enlarge the readable screen area. They are at least upfront that it will change your search engine and the extension is now called “yahoo search” so there’s no false advertising but still scummy.
Looks like I’ll go with my OS’s mail service for now.

yahoo is great !

Get it on!

Dont want it, do not like it.

Works as intended: expanded the email window as promised. *However*, it changed my default search engine to Yahoo. False advertising. I should not have to have yahoo as my my default search engine in order to have wider mail on yahoo. Ridiculous!

This is a good app when it works. It always seems to be needed to add each time as it doesn’t stay permanently active

The extension expanded the email window as promised. However, it changed my default search engine to Yahoo. This was not expected and I am removing the extension now.

Works great on my Chromebook.

Blurb said it would get rid of the ad in yahoo mail if I make yahoo my default search engine and add the extension.

Just as Denver Geo said…”No improvement that I can see.” Still need to click the divider arrow again and again and…a real pain.

can’t keep ads closed because people can’t get the program right seems like they are going backwards instead of forwards

I AM glade that you offer this unique rating tip to caution us on the program activities…

1.0 required clicking divider in mail, each time. Pathetic! What’s the point? They pushed an upgrade (1.1), which neglected to uninstall 1.0 (completed uninstall manually). No improvement that I can see. After over 20 years with Yahoo, it’s feeling like they are going backwards with development.
