Currently, Youtube does not display the total duration of a playlist to its users and so this extension hopes to address that problem by allowing users to view the total duration of a given playlist, on its overview page.
How to use:-
After enabling the extension, simply visit any youtube playlist overview page (the url should begin with ‘https://youtube.com/playlist’). For example, https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5o3ll3G4acxgDMSO7JXvDsosQ-UDPL6n
The total duration of the playlist can then be found in the area under the playlist title.
In the parentheses before the duration you will see how many videos have been taken into account for the calculation (e.g. 1-100). At the beginning this will calculate the duration for up-to 100 videos, as this is what youtube loads by default. As you scroll down the page, this extension will automatically recalculate the duration to include the next 100 videos and so on, as they become available.

actually works compared to all the other ones i tried
Really good, 4 stars because it has some trouble with deleted videos (or private) – it just does not display total time. After deleting private videos from playlist everything works fine.
Tr: Güzel bir eklenti fakat oynatma listesinde gizli video ve silinen bir video varsa bu eklenti süreyi hesaplamıyor. Onun dışında çok iyi iş görüyor. Bu sorun da çözülürse çok güzel olur.
En: It’s a nice plugin, but if there is a hidden video and a deleted video in the playlist, this plugin doesn’t calculate the time. Other than that, it works very well. It would be great if this problem was solved.

Just works with no fuss. Minor convenience but it feels life-changing. Why isn’t this built in to YouTube?
