Zimbra Mail Notifier checks your Zimbra webmail account and notifies the number of unread messages.
When new message arrive in your mailbox, a system notification is posted.
You can view your next appointments (save in your Zimbra calendar) and be notified by the system.
Tracking ongoing tasks is also available.

So far, it’s not working. My employer uses Zimbra for our primary mail service, which is nice because outlook is annoying for Linux users. Oh, it works, but I’m not a M$ fanboy so am very happy my employer provides their own Linux distribution as a business image for our laptops.
But, this extension won’t work. At All. I get a network error anytime I try to connect. It’s so annoying. So, I may just have to delete it and figure something else out.
I’m on an ASUS Chromebook, which I got a week or so ago, and really am impressed with so far.

Funktioniert nicht mehr. Auch die Entwicklerwebsite “zimberamailnotifier.free.fr” ist nicht mehr erreichbar.
Really good extension. But I have two questions: is there any way to check only specified folder (I mean exclude some folders like /inbox/junk) and how can I set other sound sample for notification?

Les adresses mails sont supprimés par magie omg… obliger de tout refaire 😡
et avec plusieurs comptes, ça bug, on accède à la boite mail mais dès que l’ont veut supprimer ou lire un message, on est redirigé sur la page principale de zimbra pour sidentifier 😡

This one works perfectly! Besides email, it also shows calendar and tasks. Almost real time email notification, very useful!
Très bien et simple à utiliser cependant il manque la possibilité de gérer plusieurs comptes (perso j’en ai 2 sous zimbra)
Pratique mais la gestion des mails n’est pas très évolué, alors que la gestion des RdV est super.
Interface très propre.
