Q: Why does the extension need access to “read and change all your data on the websites you visit”?
A: We use the “Read and change all your data on the websites you visit” permission only for putting a timer button on other websites and taking the task’s names as a description for the timer. If you don’t wish to see the button on other websites, you can disable it in extension’s Settings>Integrations.

Very good even just for personal time tracking, I wish Clockify will add a little box below the extension that show how many minutes have passed.

I am using the app for a couple of days and it has really great user friendly interface. One thing that is not working for me (in free version) is reminders. i have set up them in the Settings option in chrome extention and nothing happens. Can you assist please?
Start break option in notification doesn’t working in Pomodoro timer.

I can’t start the pomodoro timer. I have alredy did all the settings, but all the time I start the timer and gets to the supposed total time of pomodoro, I don’t get any notification and the timer continues running.
I get all the other notifications like iddle time, but not pomodoro
I have been using clockify in a browser tab since an year & had absolutely loved it & I atleast recommended to another 20 people. All of a sudden the clockify isn’t coming u[ in the browser tab & instead notified me to use browser extension. So I added this browser extension & I am unable to login. The Login with OATH2 button doesn’t work, after clicking forgot password enter the email, the Reset password button doesn’t work. So I decided to create a new account & clicked on Signup & see this message “Something went wrong. You can try reloading the page, or go back”. Pathetic.
Wow, no more bugs I’ve seen so far after the update, and the extension launch pretty fast now, at the average of 2 seconds, well done
This was working really well all through 2020. I don’t need fancy integration – I just need to chrome extension to work so I can turn on/turn off the time tracker. These days when I click on the extension icon in my browser, I just get a blank drop down box. It’s beyond annoying. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled, logged out/back in….and nothing seems to fix this issue. I’ll be looking for an alternative.
Yeah this extension is legit! It works really well and I find it helps keep me on track
I am trying Clockify and am liking it so far. My main complaint right now would be the Pomodoro timing support is a bit clunky. The Pomodoro client state (in the extension) is “lost” when changes to time entries are made directly on the Clockify dashboard. For example, if a timer is started on the dashboard, it is not captured as a “pomodoro” by the extension.
I believe it has a lot of potential, but it’s just so slow. Webpages and even high res videos load much faster than extension. It’s really disappointing. I look forward for improvement of this, because it’s really nice besides.
Lastly, there is a problem with the JIRA application. The button does not appear at all. Besides, a very useful extension.
This extension is exactly what I needed and more. I love all the different functions it includes for free, and it is really helping to bring to my attention where I’m spending too much time. The dashboard where you can see the breakdown is so clear and organized. Thank you for this great app!!!
I installed the Windows application on my desktop computer from Clockify website, windows alerted me this application wasn’t safe. I installed it anyway and received an alert from google that my account has been hacked (a connection from an unknown computer). I uninstalled it & changed all my passwords. This is really weird.

Broken IMO. Installed latest at 10-26-2020 and couldn’t log in using Google. Now can’t get into Clockify at all, even after removing the extension. Will probably have to do some dumb fiddling around with site cookies and browsing history. Stupid waste of time for what should be a smooth and easy extension to use what is typically a pretty good service.
THe currect update totally broke the extension. I cant eve access the time logs…

Please do some usability testing or get some usability consulting. Extension (and desktop apps) could be greatly improved with such small changes as
– making it possible to click anywhere in the description field to select it instead of just the first few milimeters
– making it possible to use the tab key to navigate from one field to the next and arrow keys to select projects
And please work on speed and reliability. I can’t count the times I had to click buttons multiple times, I started timers and nothing happened etc.
Otherwise yeah, it’s amazing value for 0 €, but these small issues are making it painful to use clockify… I would pay to have the issues described above resolved, but I guess they are the same for paying subscribers. So I have no incentive to become a paying customer.
