Getting started:
* Open a webpage to be monitored.
* Click Distill’s drop icon in browser toolbar.
* “Select parts of page” or “Monitor whole page” as needed for your case. In case of select parts, hover around the area on webpage that you want to watch and “click” to select the parts.
* Save selections and done!
Go to Watchlist by clicking the Distill icon to see list of watched webpages.

This extension is so far very useful. I am waiting for an invite to try the Android app as well.
After creating an account, the manual run button disappeared.
Deleting the account broke the extension completely and removed my entire watchlist.
This alone is unacceptable.
Features generally feel under-developed or straight up don’t work at all.
– XPath-Selection is limited to nodes, no further data processing allowed.
– The Selector-UI doesn’t remember config settings and overwrites them with default values.
– JavaScript is executed, but neither of the outlined ways to return values work. Thrown Exceptions are “unknown to Distill”
– Supports Regex to match for specific text, but doesn’t provide a replace value to actually do anything with it.
When you need a way to check websites at an absurdly fast pace, this is the tool! I use another service that can provide up to 10 minute checks. However for development, and notification of general website changes, you can check websites in intervals down to seconds! The site element selection tool is by far the “selling point” to using Distill with everything else being the “icing on the cake.” Excellent tool and service with not to bad pricing.

Fantastic interface for monitoring changes made to websites, such as when the PS5 is restocked at various vendors. 10/10 would download and learn to use again in case of acute amnesia.

my go to app for years when i need to monitor an item or webpage, highly recommend it.
I have been using this for a couple month now and am pleased with it. I even upgraded to a paid plan.
I like how you can use the same monitors between different devices and just assign which device does what. I also like the flexible notifications, although I would really like to use the Android App which is still in Beta. Being a paid user for months, I would like to see this included so I can get notifications when I am on the road.

Really useful and flexible tool if you’re on the hunt for low-stock items! takes a little technical know-how to use, but you’re reading a review for a Chrome extension so you’re probably savvy enough to figure it out.
The idea of the application is good, but in practice it does not work
Have been using Distill for the past month and it is such a great extension. Keep up the good work guys.
I now have over 20 alerts for items I’ve been waiting months for (GPU’s) and this extension means I don’t need to constantly hit refresh manually on every page that I’m watching. Hands down, an awesome extension to have!
The reason I give it 4/5 stars is because this extension can be very CPU intensive. I’m using a 4c/4t CPU (not ideal) and running 20+ checks in 30 second intervals for each check is around 17-70% CPU utilisation. So do be aware of that if you plan on running other programs whilst running checks. If you increase the time between each recheck interval I’m sure it won’t be as CPU hungry.
From time to time, the extension just deletes your watchlist for no reason. They probably want you the be annoyed enough and go with their cloud subscription. Lame.

I got a new graphics card with this extension. You can select in what interval it’d check the page and it’d notify you in many ways if an item goes on sale. Most efficient and would recommend.
