Easy Video Downloader supports “Interruption” which is disabled by default and can be enabled using the right-click menu-item over the toolbar button menu. If “Interruption” is enabled, the extension pops up when a file is about to be downloaded. Using the UI, you can either request download with an external download manager or copy the actual downloadable link.

Works pretty well for my use case. Only thing annoying is that when you download several videos form the same page you have to choose the download folder individually for each file.

It has way too many unnecessary things it can do. I just wanted to download a video and you have to go through way to many things and it doesn’t even work at the end.
