Using the OS X built in screen inverting is very convenient for low-light settings, e.g. at night, with all lights off. But there’s one problem: browsing Websites is awful because all the images are inverted. This Google Chrome plugin aims to solve this problem.
To use this plugin with OS X screen inverting, follow these steps:
1) Invert Colors for whole screen
System Preferences > Accessibility > Display
activate “invert colors”
2) Invert images on website with this plugin
Go to any website and klick the plugin’s icon the invert the inverted images, effectively making them normal again.
Create a global keyboard shortcut to invert your screen. See:
Works very well. Used it on site:
Doesn`t work on chrome for windows.
i use the magnifying tool of windows and the color inversion funktion of the tool.
i would increase the review if that problem will be fixed.
Also wished it worked. I work all day with inverted colors
i hope it will be fixed
Doesn’t actually work.
It works… but only on certain webpages (mostly news sites as far as I can tell).
I try to click the extension shortcut, but nothing happens to the images. This would be an awesome extension otherwise.
