The extension adds buttons that allow you to clone and open projects from GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket in IntelliJ-based IDEs.
Note: The Toolbox App must be installed on your computer to make the extension work. Download the Toolbox App from https://www.jetbrains.com/toolbox-app.
To open the projects from self-hosted GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket instances, make sure to enable the extension for your website by ticking “Enable on this domain” in the extension settings menu.
If you encounter any problem using the extension, please create an issue request at our tracker: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/TBX
Would you like to collaborate on the extension? Because you can! It’s an open-source project. Here is the repository address: https://github.com/JetBrains/toolbox-browser-extension
Es interesante pero estaría bien que fuera una funcionalidad nativa de los repositorios, ya que muchos se integran con VSCode, lo podrian hacer con el IDE por defecto del sistema.
Clicking the Webstorm clone button doesn’t seem to do anything. Would love this extension if I could figure out how to get it working.
It does not offer to open in PyCharm, newly created repo with py file in it.
Not working with custom gitlab domain
Does not work for PHPStorm installed via Toolbox. Reinstalling extension does not help.
Waiting for resolve this issue https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TBX-4812
When I was in the github cloning project, I always reported an error– “error invoking main method”.
I am not able to open a Web project (HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT) in PyCharm.
I LOVE IT
That’s cool but why does it need an extra download and install of JetBrains Toolbox…?
Hammer gut!
Beschleunigt Prozesse enorm, vor allem im Agenturalltag wo es viele unterschiedliche Projekte gibt.
Doesn’t wanna open pycharm project only the java based one, i have .idea included, just let us tick boxes mb?
edit: Fixed
I’ve been reading some of the reviews and, while the Toolbox *has* needed a lot of changes/improvements/new features to make it useful (that’s to be expected with any developing product), it was Marina’s quick response and immediate fixes that impressed me most. That’s enough to make me want to see how well the Toolbox matures. Good job Marina!
SuperB, i except nothing less from the JetBrains team.
Awesome!
Doesn’t work for self-managed gitlab instance
In bit-bucket it only supports Intellej no Pycharm support.
Can you please allow the extension to read the enterprise githubs?
Give the access to sites *github* pattern in the domain name or give the option for us to enter the domain name in the extension settings.
Doesn’t allow opening in Android Studio
It can’t open with Android Studio 🙁
Hope can choose the android studio lol
I like it !
But I want to open everything in IDEA!
Does not support enterprise gitlab. Public github and gitlab work
Neat idea (pun absolutely intended)! However it looks like it doesn’t detect Android Studio compatible projects as such. It just offers IntelliJ IDEA instead of Android Studio. Random sample project for you to verify: https://github.com/diogobernardino/WilliamChart
I need only one button “WebStorm”. I don’t use other IDEs
