Lightning Extension is a library of features created by the Lightning Product Management team at Salesforce. This extension is designed to complement the user experience with continuous productivity feature releases. These features provide end users with rich enhancements that aren’t available out-of-the-box with Lightning, like Dark Mode.
Admins can control which features are made available to their users. To control access to features, from Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Lightning Extension, and then select Lightning Extension. From there, you can change your users’ access to individual features, or access to the extension itself. Changes can take up to 24 hours to take effect.
Note: Dark mode is temporarily disabled. We’re working to make it available again.

I clicked Component customization icon on the header to edit a home page. But it is not working. Component Visibility toggle is not showed up.
It appears the extension has been abandoned. Dark mode has been gone too long. 🙁

The only reason to use this extension is dark mode and its almost more than a year and you guys not even thinking to bring it back.
Bring back dark mode! This is ridiculous. Now I’m afraid you’re going to randomly remove dark mode in Slack too.
1 star. And it will stay that way until YOU GUYS BRING BACK DARK MODE! That’s the ONLY reason I got this extension! Enjoyed it for a month and then you took it away. Now it’s been most of the rest of the year with my eyes staring into the white abyss and being blinded.
Seriously, BRING BACK DARK MODE NOW. How hard can it be????

Unfortunately, Dark Mode (a primary feature of the tool) is no longer functional. It has been “temporarily disabled” for quite a few months now. The Link Grabber is still working, which is why I leave it installed – but lack of Dark Mode is starting to really get bothersome. I can’t even use 3rd party tools (like Dark Reader) to darken the screen.
A roadmap or any kind of communication around this would be great – but unlikely, as it’s not something they charge for (….yet).
I got this extension for the Dark Mode, and nothing else. The Dark Mode is not working for a year. The developers could just say that the Dark Mode feature was removed, but instead keep saying “Working on it”, which is clearly misleading.
Dark mode has been disabled for months. It was amazing when I was able to use it. Kind of ridiculous that it has been so long and they are still “working on it”. This extension is useless to me without dark mode. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I downloaded this for the dark mode and they took it away. I understand a temporary outage to address an update or debug, but it’s been all year. BRING IT BACK.
How can enabling dark mode be this difficult? Would be 5/5 but disabling dark mode for several months with no update is annoying.
Installed it for a Dark Mode and now it’s doesn’t work for months. Still, they working hard to bring it back, they say. Try harder!
This was a great 5 star extension until they disabled Dark Mode. Now it’s been 6 months with no end in sight to my newly gained eye strain.
It was great, had it purely for the dark mode as it helps my eyes but it has since been disabled and has been that way for months what the hell salesforce almost like you don’t care.
It’s a good tool for the work that I do, however, I’m incredibly disappointed that dark mode has been ‘Temporarily’ disabled… I work on SF all day and dark mode was a headache saver! Please get this figured out… 🙁
Really miss dark mode…
I wanted to use this for dark mode, but that’s not available. I have users complaining about the contrast on the Lightning interface and wanted to see if this would help. I was surprised to see that this was actually created by Salesforce. There’s an idea on their Idea Exchange related to this that has gone ignored.
Without DARK MODE its realllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy baddddddddddddddddd. Why are the developers not looking into it!! is there a possible explanation why?? that would be very helpful thanks!!

No Dark Mode
The biggest scam I’ve ever seen, and extension that’s supposed to have a dark mode, but then after the shortest time it just gets “temporarily disabled” and never gets back up again. If I could extend my lifespan “temporarily” like that then I’m sure I would live forever…
There is really no way I can give it more than one star, because that was by far the most important feature of the extension, and it feels like close to half a year now that it hasn’t been working. I know the dark mode had some issues and bugs, but that’s no reason to switch it off, I’d way rather live with that than with the pure ugliness of the Salesforce interface.
What happened to darkmode – it’s been “temporarily disabled” for months now. Please fix this feature.
I’ve found a ton of use with this extension, but since the middle of April, Dark Mode has been disabled. I’ve been relying on another extension for dark mode within Salesforce (and it’s not nearly as good) and can’t wait for this issue to be resolved. Only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars.
