The MagicScroll Web Reader turns every page on the web into a MagicScroll book.
Its unique scrolling system lets you scroll web pages without moving them, making it easier to read long articles without being distracted.
It’s simple and easy and free to use.
After install you’ll see a small book icon in the chrome toolbar. Visit a page you want to read and click the icon to transform it into a MagicScroll book.
In addition to the app, I also used the website a lot (magicscroll.net), but it hasn’t been available lately. Why?

al meglio non c’è mai fine. Dopo aver scoperto il sito Readability e potuto vederlo in Mercury la sua fine. Ho continuato a migliorarmi con altre estensioni tipo Mercury, estensioni ottime come Reader View. Eppure questa applicazione mi piace molto perché contiene delle novità mai scoperte prima.
Wish there were more choices in web readers. I used it to read my daily scripture via email. It would only read half of it.

great. a few feature suggestions
– a inverted dark mode
– 2 column mode
– ability to remember last page position
– also allow user to select the text that is to be shown in read mode. sometimes the app cannot extract text properly. so user can select text.
– also readme page on start can explain the hotkeys etc
is the source open ?? would like to contribute , as a developer

But you could be possible to change the number of columns – 2 will be great, the font and background colors, but it’s ok anyway 🙂

Только не хватает перехода в самое начало и в самый конец текста (допустим, Ctrl+Home and Ctrl+End, соответственно).

Only reader that worked on the first article I tried.
First everything appeared pitch black (finally i changed the setting in the dark) Surprise!!!
Text is overlapping top part missing its just garbage what you see.

Hi there! I love this app. it’s great – very useful and innovative in the sense that it’s a very simple, yet pragmatic design. However, I gave this app four stars because I would love to see a keyboard shortcut functionality. That, is the only thing preventing it from being five stars.
Other than that, I appreciate the existence of this extension 🙂
