Did absolutely nothing. Dragged a file in it, just a plain white box.
(Yes, I had DEFINITELY enabled access to file URLs first.)
打不开本地md文件
Does not work with local files. Allow access to file URLs is enabled in its settings.
Didn’t work in my browser (Versão 83.0.4103.106 (Versão oficial) 64 bits). I’m on Arch OS (5.7.7-arch1-1). The page (local file) show pretty inside a grey box but the md content doesn’t appear at all.
I’ve enabled allow access to file URLs, when I drop a .md file into Chrome, it just downloads the file instead of opening it…
doesn’t work
I have used this extension for years, and I really like it, but it’s broken now. I hadn’t used it for a couple months and when I went to go view an .md file it turned up blank except for a box. When I refresh I can sometimes very briefly (probably less than a quarter of a second) see the contents of the .md file, but in the end just shows the box. My guess is that a Chrome update broke it?
Latest update seems to have completely broken it. It doesn’t work anymore.
Not working with Version 80.0.3987.122 (Official Build) (64-bit) on MAC.
It’s good extension for me . I use for read my local .md file everyday until today . I can’t open local .md file . I’ve got error message like this run again and again again.
Access to XMLHttpRequest at ‘file:///Users/kitisak/Readme/JS/javascript.md?rnd=1581100394312’ from origin ‘null’ has been blocked by CORS policy: Cross origin requests are only supported for protocol schemes: http, data, chrome, chrome-extension, https.
I configured the extension to allow file:// URL’s but it does not render markdown for local files.
Is there more than one place that local files need to be allowed?
It was OK for simple MD syntax, but cannot compile the more complex one easily. The design can be improved too.
有些.md文件还是打不开啊,一点击就变成了下载
There is something wrong when writing below:
| Character | Name |
| — | — |
| \| | pipe |
好评,中文UTF8都不会乱码。
Doesn’t work if I open local .md file from my windows 10 pc to chrome
Works on Mac with local files. see “Dusty Frederick” comment to configure extension to work with local files. you need to turn “Allow access to file URLs” on
only complaint is my markdown file is displayed with a huge margin on the left. this wastes a lot of screen space. I really like the table of contents on the right
非常喜欢,中文也没有出现乱码现象,赞一下开发者~
Es de lo mejor que he visto para ver archivos de markdown en el navegador Chrome (yo uso windows 7).
Solo una mejora posible: ¿se `podría editar el CSS?
Saludos!!
As others mention, even with the url-access option on, it does not seem to render local .md files.
Very good Markdown Reader. I’ve been able to even open local file by entering file:///c:/ in the URL and navigating to the folder where the *.md file sits.
I would recommend to anyone needing to open Markdown files.
Very good!
Run perfectly at Chromium too.
Nice support for extra Markdown stuff like checkboxes. Default source code rendering looks great. The extension also places a list on the right of the main content with links to all of your headers, very convenient for navigation and for quickly glancing over a file.
You need to enable the access to the file urls. After that it works like a charm. Love it!
Cumple su función perfectamente. Muy buena extensión y muy útil
