Microsoft Autofill lets you save your passwords and automatically fill them on all your devices – Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
With Microsoft Autofill you can:
– Avoid the hassle of forgetting passwords by saving them online
– Save time by automatically filling your passwords on sites you visit
– Access your saved passwords on all your devices
This extension is for Google Chrome. If you’re using Microsoft Edge, you already have Microsoft Autofill—just go to Settings and more (…) > Settings > Profiles > Passwords.
To autofill passwords on Android and iOS, download the Microsoft Authenticator app.
No way to easily access logins for the current site other than searching all passwords. No password recommendations. Otherwise fine.
Please add features like secure notes, secure random password generator, credit cards, etc. And add premium features for M365 customers 💖💖💖💖
I love this 💖
This is my password manager now and going to replace LastPass once above mentioned featured arrived
It can auto-fill passwords pretty fast.
It takes a minute or two to sync the passwords.
It doesn’t have any auto-password generation capability.
Good so far, just missing the ability to generate new passwords when changing or signing up to websites/apps.
Would’ve liked if Microsoft adds more features, like built-in password generator and equivalent domains. Address and Card Autofill is a must feature too for any password manager. Overall, I’m glad Microsoft is doing this and integrate it cross-platform.
It was pretty easy to pull my passwords from LastPass to this app, but it’s missing some very basic features.
1. There’s no way to manually enter a password for a site/app.
2. A password generator that let’s you customize the requirements.
3. The ability to add some notes to a saved password.
Hopefully these features are on the roadmap, it would be nice not to have to use multiple applications for all of these features.
Keep getting logged out after I re-open chrome 🙁
Also can’t edit the usernames for passwords or see any export option.
Edit: Loading password takes minutes sometimes, lowering to 1 star…..
Why is there only have password import function, but don’t have password export function?
Edit:
I just hate the high memory usage! 250MB to 350MB!
———
Exported passwords from Chrome -> imported to MS Autofill without any error.
Now, I am using this the Authenticator App in iOS for the password autofill.
Amazingly sleek!
I am not saving passwords in Google Chrome anymore 😀
Would have given 5 stars IF you could manually add passwords
It’s nearly impossible to add new passwords. The only way i’ve found to add new passwords is to import them via CSV.
Support generate password?
Would be awesome if it had :
– password generator
– quick search
It does not save the entered passwords
Good idea but fatal flaws. Using the plug-in, there is no time out, nor requirement to sign in after the first connection is completed. (Yes, I did try turning off “Sign in automatically” but it had no impact. This is a basic functional requirement for any security. And to “depend” on the timeout of the screen saver is not a good excuse. I’m going to leave LastPass (LogMeIn always seems to change the free tier to unusable). I’ll probably head to Bitwarden.
is it compatible with Samsung Internet Browser on Android or not? I just tested but it doesn’t work on Samsung Browser, it only works on Chrome and Edge on Android for me
High CPU usage, I desactivate it to save 30% cpu usage !
Microsoft is wakening.
On the prod version of Edge, the icon will not display on the toolbar
really want to us across all my browsers. can someone please tell me if its saves the form fields such as first name, last name etc? also does it capability to save payment cards too?
Great to have 2Fa and a password manager combined. However, I don’t have an option to save passwords via the Chrome extension. Is this correct? In edge this is working fine.
Just wow…
It just helps me a lot, by not having to manage all the saved password.
It would be more perfect, if you guys could implement something like this:
Here it goes.
Whenever we click Manage Password from any specific page, the next windows got to the list of all saved password, instead of doing this, why don’t you list those passwords only from which you just got here.
I mean, if someone clicks manage password in xyz.com, then list the password from xyz.com only, if they want all the other password too, then they can clear up the search filed.
What do you think?
Thanks again.
Good job guys…
With the ability to sync passwords across iOS and Android devices with the dedicated Microsoft Authenticator app, it has potential. Unfortunately, it’s very bare bones and the edit feature only allows you to edit the password but not the website or username. Hopefully, improvements will come..
