What is SHP (“Show and Hide Passwords”)?
SHP is a Chrome Extension created to help you when signing in or signing up for any site or service on the internet. It helps you make sure you have typed you password correctly.
Why should I install SHP?
There are many important reasons why you should install SHP:
– You no longer have to type your passwords several times just because of one typing error. Just one click before submitting your form when you are not sure, is enough. This is also helpful to check if caps lock is active or you have currently selected another input language.
– You no longer type wrong passwords when creating or registering for a new account. This saves your time and possibly avoids any headache.

– Major bug that caused the extension to stop working is now fixed

The extension is pretty good and useful. Just one suggestion, use different icons for “show” and “hide” password.

JavaScript should be encapsulated, because the way it is right now it just shows variables and functions and listeners all over the global scope, which is a big no in a browser extension!

Довольно удобное расширение, разные режимы показа пароля (при наведении, всегда и т.д.).
Но не отображает пароль на icloud.com и некоторые другие.
I still think it’s saving my passwords secretly and keeping them hidden in a scammers computer somewhere in some unknown city or town or farmhouse idk i don’t trust it i’d rather right click and show the password manually

Please, can you let the icon either sit at the left side of the input box, or be disabled? It interferes with Lastpass… huge inconvenience!

it’s great ext works fine, helpful and easy to use i’m using it long time and none of my privacy is touched i suggest this to everyone.
Destroys the layout of password field by adding a style attribute with fixed width.
Better than the favored extension.

Pretty good. Works under most circumstances. It would be better if it didn’t demand an exact location in the Password box. I have another application LastPass that wants that corner. Now both extensions sit on top of each other. Can you make the icon move over if another app is already there?
