# SSL Grade (Chrome Extension)
## About
This Extension shows the Quality of the SSL Conection of the Current website.
this extension downloads the Quality Rating from SSLLabs.com. and displays an
icon matching the rating in the adress bar. this makes it easyly to discover SSL problems on the sites your visiting.
## Privacy
This extension itself does not Collect Any Data. But it is querying an third party Service:
`https://api.ssllabs.com/api/v2/analyze?host=`
therefor it is possible that ssllabs.com is learning which Domains you are visiting.

this is a bugfix release, it fixes a bug where http urls did not resulted in an sslscan when clicking the “No” icon. this is fixed by correctly initiating the scan.

any feedback is very welcome
Works very well and saves me time because I use SSL Labs to check sites often
Does not add much value, as sites that are not listed on SSLLabs.
Would be really useful, if one could trigger an actual SSL check, but this way.
Also unclear why this extension needs access to the browsing history.
totally useless for personal user, if your sites aren’t FB or Google.

Quick & easy way to check your pages if you’re in charge of keeping them secure. Also defaults to hiding the result which is nice.
Just shows “No” for the https sites I am interested in. Clicking on “No” just brings up the chrome web store page.
It’s a great extension, really interesting to look at the security of the sites I browse. 🙂
