A definite gamechanger and one that really speeds up my shopping trips online! To be instantly served what you are looking for is fairly rare, especially when it comes to searching for Vegan products.
Great app! Only improvement I can see after a quick test is on sites like TESCO or other large chains: is there a way to expand the ability to search for vegan products outside of just food? For example when the filter is turned on it suggests lambswool sweaters.

Fall is my favorite season of the year. I love wearing cozy sweaters and boots in the crisp wind. Recently, I’ve been searching for vegan boots. I’m genuinely excited about The Vegan Filter because I think it will make my search for vegan boots and future searches for other vegan products so much faster and easier. An extension that helps consumers like me determine if the products on a site are vegan is a perfect solution to a problem I hadn’t even identified until now. Now, back to boot shopping…
I do not like how this extension removes things that are vegan from view. For example, on a popular grocery shop site, I searched for frozen berries, I see them pop up, and then I see them disappear behind the filter, with only processed smoothie packs coming up. It just needs some work. I had previously “unchecked” the filter on this site, but it keeps somehow getting reselected, and it’s just the opposite of helpful on this site, one that I regularly use for food shops.
I came across this a couple of months ago and I wish Vegan Filter had been available when I first went vegan! So useful, it saves me a lot of time not having to read through ingredients or google products to check they’re vegan. I can’t wait for it to be available on more sites!
