It will gonna save me soo much time. Even so it is most likely that I’m now kinda stuck in my subscription bubble, but the time savings I expect from this extension makes up for that.

Was looking for something just like this! It’s perfect, and so versatile. You can block or keep whatever you want. Use this to stay focused on what YOU want to watch and not on what the algorithm is putting into you.
I watched a youtube video (ironically) on the youtube algorithm that increased watch time 2000%. I’m one of those people hooked. So I looked for a way to cut the algorithm and this app – I mean – phenomenally easy to use and effective. The hardest part actually now is me – I miss the recommended, the trending, the sidebar. But I can only say the best things about the app. I even tried donating but I deleted my Paypal account a while back. But this review is a true 5 stars from me!
It does what I need It to do. Im grateful for it!

YouTube has great stuff, so you can’t block it with LeechBlock. But it’s also built to keep your attention for as long as possible. This extensions takes away Youtube’s claws, and keeps most of the good parts. The one thing I’d change is the layout of the extension’s options (“Trending” and “Subscriptions” should be under “Hide left sidebar” and “Hide sidebar” should be renamed to “Hide right sidebar”). But you only look at the options once, so it doesn’t really matter. This extension is perfect.
Great extension! Only issue I have with it is the YouTube Logo is not clickable when “Hide Homepage Feed is enabled, would be better if it could redirect to Subscriptions instead.
OMG this amazing. This is what I’ve needed in my life for the last several years. I’ve been stuck exactly the same place in my life all through these years and Youtube and it’s engagement tactics has been a big part of it. It’s just been this necessary evil and it never occurred to be there could be an extension to get the good out of it but block all the evil algorithm. Today is just my first day of using this and I’m thoroughly impressed. I expect it to make a big difference in my life and if it finally helps me get that career switch that I’ve been wanting for a long time, I swear I’ll donate a good portion of my initial few paychecks.

Hate accidentally clicking trending? Disable trending.
Hate seeing NSFW Profile pics in the comments section? Comment section PFPs are gone.
Hate comments in general? You can remove the comments section.
Hate mile long descriptions? Gone.
Hate all the spam on the home page (like sickening or creepy nsfw news stories or frustrating politics)? Guess what? You can remove the home page!
Hate clickbait thumbnails? You can turn off thumnails!
Just hate the recommended section? You can disable both the “watch next” section and the “recommended section”
Hate etc. etc. etc.? You can disable it!
The best part is that it’s 100% configurable to your exact preferences via a dropdown menu on the plugin icon. With the sole except of ads (download adblock plus) and search results, every single part of the website can be turned on or off at will with just the click of a button and a quick page refresh.

Make a Turn ON/OFF feature. It would be easier to commute like that, rather than turning it ON/OFF from extensions.
