An extension to copy the text content of hyperlinks with right click (outerText). When a user invokes the context menu, right clicks, and selects item “Copy Hyperlink Text” chrome will open a prompt dialog so the user may manually copy the text within a hyperlink

For example>
GOOGLE
And also
GOOGLE
Among other tag combinations Copy Hyperlink Text will prompt the user to copy the text “GOOGLE” in a chrome prompt dialog

– Copy Hyperlink Text uses the google chrome prompt dialog allowing the user to manually copy text
– Copy Hyperlink Text does not automatically copy to the clipboard on a native operating system (it’s a sandbox javascript limitation)
– I will automatically copy to the native clipboard once javascript has a standardized way to access the operating system clipboard
– Copy Hyperlink Text does not copy text inside or nested in elements. I lost the “which element loads first war” and chrome doesn’t support event listener frame loading, boo. When chrome adds support for this I’ll attempt to have this extension work inside html frames
