This extension helps remove redundant prefixes from file names when downloading.
For example, it changes “fa3a732b7920453da814ed532e8f5663_4517_outline_2016” to “4517 outline 2016”

There are some things in your life that bother you for so many years that you accept them as normal. You see the underscores the AD%7R34J prefixes and think: “I deserve this.”
You deserve better.
This Chrome extension changes all that. It treats you with the respect that default file names have denied since you can remember. This is your deliverance.
Also, as a heads up, does default to open the Downloads folder, rather than the last folder you saved in.
Works like a charm!
