This extension is for Etsy sellers to quickly check for problematic buyers based on the buyers’ review histories. On your ‘orders & shipping’ or Messages pages, a small KarenCheck section will appear on the upper right overlay on the page. KarenCheck will show you how many positive, neutral, and negative reviews that buyer has left, along with a preview of the reviews.
Absolute god-send when a message about a problem comes in and you can tell just how carefully to tread with a quick Karen Check! Lots of red, time to sound like a total robot and give them absolutely nothing but helpful answers. Lots of green, you can be a bit more human and chatty with the customer without fear of something being taken wildly out of context. 10/10 extension for Etsy sellers <3
I love being able to get a glimpse of new client’s past reviews. I don’t obsess over somebody’s reviews but this reassurance is so nice. I love that this is simple and quick to use
Only download and fired up in the last 15 mins – but already found of use and 1 order cancelled because it showed a serial 1* Karen in my recent orders. Wonderful! Great job!

You have saved the day for us sellers who are barely getting by during this covid stuff. Im so grateful & as soon as I can afford it I’ll be sending you money. I have a crazy lady who bought items 3 times & lied each time & refused to send me photos of her made up damage. She said she threw it in the trash so she could not send photos but she wanted all of her money back even though she trashed it. Now, I can prevent selling to her thank you!!! She’s an antiques dealer & poet. I wish these people cared that some sellers are really hurting right now.
BUT, I looked up a Karen today who left someone a negative review but it does not show up on her results only her positive ones show. So is there a flaw maybe? I spelled her name correctly, it was simple.
I wish I had a role model like you growing up because I would have become a programmer. I regret listening to negative people & thinking women can’t do that tech stuff! Wishing you well!! : )
It would be amazing if sellers could leave notes on the karen check page, like a seller review for the buyer. I just had a person say there was part of an order missing when I know it wasn’t. She has all positive reviews on her karen check with no feedback left. So its hard to tell if she’s a serial scammer or not since she hasn’t been leaving any comments in her own reviews. It would be nice to have an note section for circumstances like this one where a seller could note that the buyer claimed missing items or other issues a seller might have with a weird buyer.

This completely solves that problem & lets you know if you might have a difficult customer right from the start so you can handle it accordingly. Thank you so much!!!
Much needed at this time of a Karen-itis epidemic on Etsy. Especially when there is no way to see their past review history. Lets me know if a buyer is a PITA before I accept the order! I only wish we could see their “score” before they buy, (name only doesn’t work) ,and also the items they are talking about in the reviews. Since so many don’t even read the listings, where it might have mentioned their issue up front.
