This is a very simple open-source extension that will enable you to switch between tabs using Ctrl-Shift-[ and Ctrl-Shift-].
Originally, it also included a rough implementation of Apple’s Natural Scrolling, Chrome OS now includes it out-of-the-box. To enable, just go to:
chrome://settings/pointer-overlay
and select Australian scrolling.
Works as it should, on about 1/3 of websites. So it doesn’t really work as it should.
For the Chromebook you can turn on simple or Austrailian scrolling in the settings to have the touchpad scroll in the same way this extension works. Obviously it doesn’t remap the keys.
Useful? Maybe. Required? Probably not.
