ABOUT PRIVACY PRACTICES introduced by the Web Store:
The Privacy Practices tab does not reflect reality. Google has brought everything into one chekbox and developers can’t choose what data does the extension actually collect. Really, Magic Actions for YouTube just counts usage by country, no any private or personal data.
Possible, such Web Store policies are introduced to discredit good extensions, reduce trust and extensions usage. At the same time, extensions produced by spammers and even by an Chrome Product Diamond Expert collecting what they want and doesn’t disclose that, constantly defaming this and related products.
Can’t access the settings at all. I get a message that says The access “has been blocked or redirected by an unwanted software without your knowledge and consent” and to add it to a whitelist. I’ve already disabled all other extensions and even re-installed the extension to no avail. The website won’t load at all either.

By far one of the best extensions I have, and I am surprised by the immediate fixes on the issues I’ve had.
I want to change something in the options but every time I click options, it takes me to a screen where it says i haven’t installed magic options and to install it to see the options when I clearly have it installed. I just checked it today and there is another button on there that says “click to show options” and when I click it, it does NOTHING! Fix it so I can go to the options to so i can turn off cinema mode and change my default resolution!
Edited on 3/7/21: You guys finally fixed it so i can see the options. I hope you guys keep up on fixing it if this happens again.

There are many.. thousands fake negative reviews. There are a lot of bots from competitors’
apps that simply COPY ALL features from this extension (may not have an ideas), then defame the extension and actually do bad things for users.
Basically, I can’t imagine my day without this plugin/extension/addon.
I originally got this extension a few years ago just to stop YouTube from “autoplaying” videos every time I opened a video in a new tab…
Absolutely LOVE instant volume control (wheel scroll volume control should be YouTube’s default feature)!

Was 5 stars, but they added a “Magic Action for YouTube” menu which is a royal pain.

My God, thank you so much for skipping the ridiculous commercials of scammers on YouTube. I could no longer listen to their voices even for another moment, I do not usually write reviews but this time friends send you lots of love as long as the option works.
How can I hide the YT logo that appears in the center when you pause a video?
This developer gives you pop ups, then lies about giving you pop ups, then when people who are smart enough to figure out that this extension is the source of the pop up say something, the developer comes into the reviews and spams anyone who speaks out by calling them a liar. “100% scanned and clean!” sure, but that doesn’t mean you don’t display a pop up. Too much shady behaviour here for this developer to be trusted.
User beware! You never know what underhanded stuff this dev might do with your data if he is willing to lie about a benign popup.
Dev: go ahead and tell me I am wrong. You will only make my review more credible.
2021 edit: Well, after finding no alternatives for improving the youtube layout and sticking with this, I guess I’m just gonna delete and live with youtube’s layout. There was an update to the interface, and now the bottom controls that the extension adds to youtube videos looks like cartoonish trash. No thanks.
I liked it but i would like a option to record the sound of a video if u want a specific sound from a part of the video if u want it just for laughs or to have it as a memory .

Мне очень нужна единственная опция из всего ассортимента – режим просмотра во все окно (expand)… И все бы хорошо, но зачем-то в таком режиме на экран слева сверху влеплены кнопки-иконки волшебной палочки и камеры, которые банально закрывают обзор……………
Итог: потерпел, отключил приложение, поставил другое исключительно с нужной функцией без лишнего мусора на экране…

UPDATE FEB 2021: it seems that an issue is causing the page of a youtube channel’s videos to go blank.
with the new update they added a “play icon”, when the video is paused, which is annoying and i dont know how to remove it.(it seems that there is no option for it)
Świetny dodatek, dużo opcji, bardzo często mi się przydaje. Nie mam temu rozszerzeniu nic do zarzucenia, proste do obsługi i dobre.
