This does not delete my messages when they are in a thread,
Works fairly well. I needed to clean out our General channel because we were adding some external members to our workspace and the general channel had some internal messages. I paid for the admin version and the flaw I ran into was that it wouldn’t delete thread messages. (It deleted the main messages, but not sub-messages, it would get ‘stuck’ every time there was a thread). I had to pause the process and manually delete the messages in the thread. Luckily it didn’t take toooo long, but for $50, I expected it to automate the whole process.

pro tip: zoom out to 25% and/or use “custom page zoom” to make it auto as possible. may burn your cpu and memoy though.
It works for me (free version), but it’s painfully slow. However, slow is better than the “not at all” option offered by slack themselves, so thank you for this extension. We used it to clean out the #general channel (which my group used as the main chat channel.. I know, bad choice) to add another team in on the server. Fortunately a small group we are, so we each went through over a couple of hours and scrolled our way through the deletion.
Free version is useless, paid version is not far behind and a rip off. Just use completely free, highly customizable open-sourced `slack-cleaner` from Github.

It requires the messages to be in focus to delete it, so its not automated.. you still have to scroll through your entire channel history..
I guess it saves a bunch of clicks,
It does not really work for me.
I tried disabling all other extensions and reloading the slack page multiple times, scroll the page so my messages are visible… but nothing.
If I push the “Delete My messages” button, it start flashing pretending it’s deleting but nothing happens.
Doesn’t delete in threads
Doesn’t delete anything, so not sure what function it’s supposed to serve as a “message deleter.”
So – at the moment its not working for me (maybe Slack updated their ui again?) however, I have seen it working and its clear that Peta Sittek cares about this plugin, so I’m sure it will be working again soon. Thank you for all your hard work on this.

It does not work. Very frustrating. Not sure why this is even advertised as an extension. It does nothing and the developer copies and pastes the same response to every review to “please be patient”

Liked it while it worked. Stopped working now. Just says it’s running but messages stay. Using the new 2.0 version.
