Extremely customizable and perfect for my use, also it’s open source! However, the load time when opening a new tab is quite hefty compared to others (3 secs), not sure if this is just a limitation of an extension or an issue with the extension itself. Otherwise, the best new tab extension out there!
UPDATED – (06 FEB 21) – The issues I had before are not coming back but the extension has become laggy whenever I open a new tab, it takes a lot of time for the nightab to come until then I see a blank screen. So please update and promote with key words like new tab. Also add on edge store and firefox addons store. Thanks. Waiting for update.
Will retry the extension and see if those previous problems arise or not. Until then I am keeping my rating back to 3 stars.
I don’t know where you were when we were looking for great new tabs and start tabs extensions and I also don’t know what to say, dear Zombie Fox. This extension just baffles me with love, joy and extreme ecstasy. Completely the way i wanted my new tab should look like with all the customizations that others were never having. The best part is that it has color themes preset and one can also create if images (which is another great asset of this extension with varieties) is one’s way of keeping new tabs. Well done, Zombie Fox. Keep it up. I have some suggestions for you. First, add your extension in edge extensions store also as edge addons lacks one like this one. Also add in Opera addons and firefox addons store. I used all of these browsers. Second, add option of quotes and auto guessing from searches or auto predictions as it helps from typing whole thing. Also please create a version like “https://web.tabliss.io/” has done alongside his extension so that we can add this to our mobile browsers also via new tab link option. Also customize your extension for mobile browsers that support extensions like kiwi browser and firefox and iceraven browsers. There is one bug or issue that is of loading slowly taking huge time when the browser is restarted or device is rebooted irrespective of tabs open or browser. At last, keep the project alive and active and dont abandon like others do. I hope you will consider my suggestions for making your extensions useful for more than people like us. 5 stars from my side. Thanks. Great.

i didnt know that i needed such a new tabe page until i got it! it is sooo good. loved the customisation options. Thanks dev for making my day. (night actually.) Might i also suggest that the search bar have a dropdown menu or like omnibox functions?
This is the New Tab extension I’ve always wanted. It’s very configurable but also super simple to use, making it almost perfect. Only issue is it doesn’t load instantly when you open a new tab, taking under a second but still noticeably being delayed. Still, it’s fantastic and I completely recommend it.

I really like it if the edit feature for bookmarks were drag and drop and beside the final bookmark placed is a plus sign for placing another bookmark 🙂

This is by far the coolest startpage/speed dial extension I’ve seen in years. I’ve been using Speed Dial 2 Pro for quite some time. Looks like my review for that was in 2013. Just found my new replacement. Using it on Microsoft Edge Chromium right now.

How do you edit the size for each individual bookmark as well add background photos like the one you had shown in the demos and sample templates. Other than that a very clean tab extension

the hard work done on this project is clearly visible and it’s awesome. it has exactly the right amount of customization i needed. Brilliant job!
only one thing i think needs improvement is the settings menu. maybe you can make the window larger with easier to access menu options so that i can see most of the settings without needing to scroll excessively or clicking the menu options all the time.

I finally found the perfect speed dial extension and I gladly replaced Speed Dial 2 with nightTab as the latter is just superb- free, cross browser and open source, highly customizable (it offers an abundance of options) slick interface (many themes available), fluently working export/import, no privacy concerns and on top of that the developer is very helpful and responsive. In conclusion- nightTab is an exquisite extension which offers enough options to please the pickiest of users.
I loved it, it really helped me to organize my web pages on the right places. Although, my customization do not sync when i open my account on other computers, and then, everytime i try it, comes back to the default patterns. Is there any way i could solve that problem?
Well, I like my eyes to see a pleasing dark. This is an extension that has a good new tab. This is what I want. This is a must have.

Amazing! There are so many options to choose from: picture, accent color, time, bookmarks, font, theme–and they added more options with an update! Best new tab extension I’ve ever used, would definitely recommend!
Really nice ! ..but one question
If for some reason I change my system, reinstall chrome will I loose all my parameters or are the data saved to google drive ?
Will it sync to other devices I use ?
