I had everything saved onto NordPass and i had made an account but know this before you do make one. Everytime you want to use it, it requires a password which cannot be changed unless you’re signed in. I hadnt changed anything on my account because i had it all saved and there was no need too as it was also incredibly secure but somehow my master code and recovery code has been changed and i dont kow how because i never changed it. I have now lost all of my important passwords for certain sites, i may not know my log in due to the password suggestions which have a number of letts, numbers and symbols, so Thank You NordPass for losing all of my passwords and information, I greatly appreciate it.
I have been using this service for more than a year. Very handy and wonderful service but the extension is terrible. It doesnt sync when I unlock the Vault every single time. It is a hit or a miss most of the times. I hope this gets patched soon!
It’s not working anymore. I was really happy but now everytime I need to log in, I need to go back to the Windows app. Stressful.
Used the extension with Brave, my default, browser (Chrome extension) and worked well for a few days. It suddenly stopped and refuses to work again. It constantly asks to download the Windows app, but I have it installed and open. Uninstalled and reinstalled the extension many time, same with app, to no avail! Extension works fine with Firefox, so it seems to be with Chrome extension? (I don’t use Chrome browser).
The extension will open only some of the times (free version)
It was using for the last 6 months or so, and since they released the version 2.7 for the desktop app my extension is not working anymore on Brave
first off logging into the desktop app doesn’t unlock the chrome extension, then when clicking the extension tells me to download the desktop app which I already have and am logged into. wish you could just log in through extension so I can actually get it to work properly.
When the extension is working, it works without a problem. But roughly once a month, it stops acknowledging the NordPass desktop app (It continues to tell me to launch the app, despite the app already being opened and unlocked). The only way to remedy the problem has been to uninstall and reinstall when it happens, and it really shouldn’t be happening at all so that’s worth a substantial 2 stars off.
This Chrome extension is slow….
I am using NordPass for a month now. So far, the extension really helps out, especially when creating new passwords. Also, I have to say that the search option is great (searching for saved logins – saves a lot of time than just scrolling).

Never updates my passwords even with the pop up appearing. So I am always left with out of date passwords that don’t work.
Please fix the password update functionality.
Absolutely awful. Won’t autofill from mobile or browser app, demands that you download the desktop app in order to use it. This of course, completely defeats the purpose of having a browser app. Absolutely would never recommend to anyone, ever. I’ll be switching my passwords out of it as soon as possible.
Does not work, this extensions simply opens a page to download an App. When you install the app and then try to use the extension, same thing happens.. Autofill doesn’t work.
Hi Team, could you please consider returning functionality to the chrome extension without installing the desktop app? This is fine for personal computers but most people don’t have authority to install third party programs to desktop on their work computers but would still like access to their password manager!
Came over from Lastpass as I already have a NordVPN subscription but may have to keep looking for the reason above.
The fact I have to run the app on my computer to use the browser extension is terrible idea.

Seems like the website still advertises browser extensions but when installing I get told to use a desktop app. Not what I was looking for.

This application has problems working with browsers. Lost functionality for a couple months. Got it back for several weeks and now today, the chrome extension failed again. Will try removing and reinstalling the extension but that didn’t help last time (didn’t work on FF either). Needs to be more reliable.
I spent months adding accounts and passwords. Then, just when the extension actually became useful, they decided that it needed to be scrapped and all of that work was for naught. Not to mention the money grab nature of paying to use Nord’s service only to realize that they want me to pay AGAIN to get “premium features.”
There is officially no reason to use Nord’s products over any other VPN service.
Not sure why this is in the chrome store when it doesn’t work on chromebooks. Thanks for wasting my time.
Okay, but the plugin does not work

I recently purchased a 1 year of premium after using the free version. Already can see great improvements!
In some pages the extension causes lag:

where each click feels like 1s to respond; source points to nordpass extension, can’t pinpoint exactly what as it happens after opening multiple nested modals (private project)
It works OK as a password storage system, however if you find some websites don’t work correctly (slow and clunky) it might be due to this extension. i found through much trial and error that this extension is messing up a website that i use frequently for work and i need to keep removing it to use the site… i guess nothing is perfect. I probably would not have purchased NordPass if i knew this would happen.
