Stop scrolling, and start searching.
This simple extension adds a search bar to your Google Classroom pages. It searches through every assignment and announcement ever posted to stream, so you can spend less time scrolling, and more time getting your work done.
Matching results are displayed in order of relevance right at the top of the stream, and as soon as you’re done, you can reset and search again. Don’t remember the exact phrasing used in the assignment you’re looking for? Don’t worry, since the extension implements a powerful fuzzy search engine that will any results related to what you entered.
The extension is also more powerful than simply searching the text on the page (through CMD/CTRL + F,) since it can locate assignments and announcements that the page has not yet loaded.

I could not use it because my teacher disabled the stream so I would like a request that you can use it even when stream is disabled for students
Doesnt work at all. Shows wrong results and doesnt allow to open the document.
Google Classroom really needs to make an official search bar, because I couldn’t find anything before this extension. This has really helped me out a lot since I’m constantly using Classroom. Thanks for making this! I know a lot of people are saying it doesn’t work on their devices, but if it helps, I have a Windows 10.
I need this so bad. Unfortunetely, it just didn’t work, even after I logged in. I shows an ERROR message on the search button. Am I doing something wrong?
I think this is a great idea, and it is the only search bar I could find, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work for me, it is just stuck on loading.
EDIT – It worked on another computer, but on my chromebook, the login prompt does not pop up, where it asks me to grant the permissions. I am not sure what is up with that.
