NEW! Now you can use the keyboard shortcut “$” instead of clicking the Unsubscribe Button in your address bar. Boom!
* Is your inbox overloaded with marketing e-newsletters?
* Tired of spending too much of your PRECIOUS working hours trying to find how to unsubscribe from every unwanted e-subscription?
* Sick of SCROLLING to the bottom of e-messages just to squint your eyes reading TINY text searching for HIDDEN unsubscribe links at the bottom of emails?
“Unsubscribe Button” (TM) for Chrome adds an easy to use, ONE TAP unsubscribe button to your address bar whenever you browse your Gmail messages.
Try it today, for FREE, and save yourself uncountable hours of vexation.
New in v 1.0.7: track how many newsletters you have unsubscribed from! Share with friends on Facebook!
New in v 1.0.6: if Gmail provides an unsubscribe button at top of email, this extension will first try to use that, preventing you from having to visit a 3rd party website to complete the unsubscribe.

works great for me on my mac
does not work on my Samsung Chromebook.
Doesn’t work: the console logs show that it doesn’t find the unsubscribe info it’s looking for, and nothing happens
Best, most useful extension ever! I love gmail unsubscribe button, it’s why I switched from yahoo, but this works 10x better!
It looks for the link and clicks it for you. Would be great to fully automate. Here I am criticizing, while this is much more helpful, than not.
doesn’t find the unsubscribe
doesn’t work
it only open a new tab in my gmail home without unsubscribe me
did not work with chromebook
Keyboard shortcut, $, is indeed $
not working in gmail… when I click the button nothing happens
Great extension! I only used it for five minutes. Gmail already has this. If you could improve the visibility in gmail that would be great.
Nice
top, love it, fast and simple…
Excellent. Catches more than the built in gmail function.
I modded the content.js a tiny bit to make it even more aggressive:
Changing this:
function getUnsubLinks() {
var unsubLinks = getLinksMatching(/unsub|optout|opt out/i);
if (unsubLinks.length === 0) {
unsubLinks = getLinksMatching(/click here/i); // less likely to work than above, but nice fallback
}
return unsubLinks;
}
to this:
function getUnsubLinks() {
var unsubLinks = getLinksMatching(/unsub|optout|opt out/i);
if (unsubLinks.length === 0) {
unsubLinks = getLinksMatching(/click here/i); // less likely to work than above, but nice fallback
}
if (unsubLinks.length === 0) {
unsubLinks = getLinksMatching(/here/i); // even LESS likely to work than above, but nice fallback
}
return unsubLinks;
}
Only took a few weeks to clean up my subscriptions! Great Extension!
Freaking awesome
Had a clear link go to this link to unsubscribe and it said can’t find link
